Warranty
Covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years. Please note our range of transparent Vitrik Surface pool tables are designed as a beautiful and functional work of art for a modern interior. Our warranty only covers residential usage.
Communications with Nottage Design
Please allow 24 - 36 hours for response from Nottage Design, all enquiries that are handled personally are done so by a knowledgeable Australian employee of Nottage Design, we are a bespoke builder of luxury goods and do not utilise a call centre for our calls. The information that you require should be on our website or available from one of our distributors.
All communications with Nottage Design employees are the opinions of Nottage Design staff and may not represent the views of Nottage Design the company.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Nottage Design manufactures high end, high quality customisable goods. We build to order and manufacture using local suppliers within Australia.
Our range of transparent Vitrik surface pool tables are designed for low volume residential use. The transparent Vitrik surface and specially coated cue ball are highly durable with normal use, however rough play or anything done to the surface that is not a normal part of a game can mark the surface permanently. With care and moderate usage we see no reason your table will not last many, many years, however we do not recommend using the transparent Vitrik surface in situations where they will receive rough play, a high volume of usage or abnormal use.
For high volume usage or public venues we recommend our matte-finish translucent Vitrik surface or cloth surface. These can be used in these conditions, be mistreated and not show any wear.
Minor marks can generally be polished out of our transparent Vitrik surface with our recommended polish, alternatively the surface can be replaced onsite if severe damage occurs.
We operate with a small number of staff and have a low production volume which enables us to create the most innovative and customisable bespoke products available anywhere in the world.
All products are hand made to order, to high quality standards. We conduct strict quality control to ensure our products are of high finish and build quality.
Goods remain the property of Nottage Design until final payment has been made.
Manufacture time will be quoted upon presentation of the final invoice, and is an estimate based on our current production schedule.
If a completion date is strictly required, we require a surcharge to cover our additional overheads for overtime, priority production from our suppliers, and other additional charges for rush manufacturing. Please ask us for a quote of these charges.
If you require the order in less time than our current lead time, we may be able to prioritise your order with an additional surcharge; please ask us for a quote of these charges.
Whilst every effort is made to meet customers’ requests for deadlines and delivery dates, we do not guarantee that a requested or quoted delivery date or completion date will be met. We cannot be held liable for not meeting a requested or quoted date; our priority is the quality of the product, we will not compromise this under any circumstances.
Nottage Design will send notice that an order is completed 7 days prior to the expected date. This enables us to receive payment in time for the table’s completion to save any further delays. Please note; we will not under any circumstances send an order prior to the second payment being received. If Nottage Design receives the payment after this 7 day period, we will send the order within 2 working days due to the time taken to re-book logistics.
We quote estimates for shipping and customs clearing (where applicable), these are given to us by our shipping agent. We cannot be held responsible for delays, we have no control over the shipping process and length of time it takes. Where requested we can supply tracking details and written updates as to when it will arrive.
Please also note in November/December it is our’s and our suppliers’ peak time and delays do occur, most of which are out of our control. This period is also the peak time for shipping and as such shipping time can also take significantly longer. For orders that are required to be delivered and installed before the Christmas break, we require the order and first deposit payment to be made before 30th September. Our lead times increase in this period due to the pre-Christmas rush in manufacturing and logistics.
We request that where possible the buyer give us as much time as possible to ensure the table will be completed on time.Quotes are valid for 14 days only and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations, as is the second payment upon completion of the products.
Where Nottage Design is producing a custom product or accessory, we will quote an expected lead time, however due to the nature of custom/one-off products lead times can blow out significantly when unexpected issues with new technology/processes arrive. We will not rush through or send any product that is not of a high quality standard.
Patent/IP information
The G-1 and G-4 pool tables are protected by worldwide patents and design registrations, including US patent number 7877857, plus other pending international patents and design registrations. |
